“Right, couldn’t be just a glitch in his matrix”, Tricky grinned, harsh laughter just on the tip of his tongue. “I understand it completely, other wise the relationship with Darling wouldn’t be as interesting as it is.”

Manny growled and, before he realized what he was doing, he was punching Trickster across the face. “Shut up.”

It had happened so quickly the Trickster didn’t even realize what had happened until the sharp sting of pain flooded across his face. “I’ll say what I damn well please, dove.”

“Not when it’s about Lion you won’t.”

He smiled, “Lion wouldn’t have let me in if I hadn’t.”

“Pretty sure your ship was just taking the best he could get, was either you or Warden and you know his track record with TARDISes.”

“Lion is and was anything but desperate. I know your used to pathetic Tardis’ because of yours but you don’t know mine.”

“Really now, because Darling kept Warden locked away for a while- longer then your little prat could have. She’s at least got some spark to her, I imagine yours still follows any order it’s given.”
